The Birth of Donut EyeBalls
They come in threes and like most Takopachi (Fried Dough Balls), they have a
stick stuck in them.
They were born just like any of my other stippling illustrations.
I am pretty much fascinated with how “Eyes” can perfect or ruin a graphical work
as easily as you can imagine. And that is how everything started.
And well, the truth about my addiction to Stippling/Pointillism is pretty much
ridiculous. They were actually meant to be a “Time-Spender” during those long
rides.
Staring at the paper and recalling the term “Takopachi” from the recent catchup
with friends, I begin working with simple circles with mind references of those
past doodles done a couple of years ago. With that, I made some simple
modifications and D.E.B. was created.
The impact of these three small little creatures alone are not comparable to the
recent few illustrations made and thus, I decided to work on a series. Though
they are still nameless at the moment, I will work on their formal introduction
soon.
Formal Introduction
First and foremost, they come in threes.
Visually, they varies in size but that does not determine their seniority.
The Junior is on the left while the Senior (First Illustrated), stood on the far
right. Their names are Juki, Doki & Maki respectively (From the illustration
below).
